In today’s post I’ll share a quick hack to help you plan out your content on Instagram so that you no longer have to look at other people’s feeds with envy. In less than two minutes you’ll have a visual content calendar that you can easily work with so you’ll know how to to schedule all of your posts.
If you’re like me, I am constantly looking for tools to make my life easier. I am also looking for tools that won’t add to my monthly expenses unless they’re absolutely critical. I searched everywhere (okay, mostly just Google) for a tool that allows me to see what my Instagram feed would look like overall with photos scheduled in a specific order. I ran into some buggy apps and also some that I had to pay for, both of which are not ideal situations.
While using one of my favorite tools, Canva, I found a creative way to solve this problem once and for all (or at least until I find a tool that’s free and actually works).
Step 1: Sign up for a free, personal account at Canva.
Step 2: Once you’re in, create a new design with custom dimensions 600 x 600 px.
Step 3: Look for the layout that contains a 3 x 3 grid.
Step 4: Upload photos to your account.
Step 5: Drag and arrange photos on your grid until you’re satisfied with the way everything looks.
Step 6: If you want to add more photos, make a copy of the the page and drag more photos into each grid cell.
